We wanted to go to a club, so we got all dressed up. I even had my bowtie on! Four of us went to the liquor store and pitched in on a couple of vodka bottles, and we got plenyt of different mixers as well, though I mostly mixed with red bull, because it's just more fun!

But after a while we found out that we weren't enough girls that wanted to go out, and the operator told us that he could not get this group into the club. Tough, but we had a nice alternative: Somebody pulled out a deck of cards, and jotted down some rules on a piece of paper.

The game was called Sociable or something, but the americans use the name Kings, which I find easier. There's a rule for every card you draw, and every player picks one card.

It was a lot of fun, making up bizarre new rules, having to pay attention to what everyone was doing, and of course getting stupidly drunk.

My favourite rule was the moosemaster (because I was the moosemaster for a while!). And Chris made up a few crazy rules (which I never managed to remember): The No Pointing Rule and The Don't Say Fuck rule. 

Somehow the game lasted the whole night - I'm amazed at how many hours we actually spent picking up only 52 cards. I can't really remember much of the later parts of the game, just that a lot of people joined in, and the room was packed with people watching or playing the game.
