At the hostel reception, we met the cutest little asian girl we had ever seen: Kelly from Singapore. She told us she had just arrived, and had just signed up to the Club Tour arranged by the hostel. We signed up immediately, of course!

The french guy Anas joined us as well, and two guys and two girls from another hostel also went with us to the club. It was way past midnight when we arrived, because the guy arranging the tour was very late. Taking the subway when you go out really sucks, I think taxis are a lot easier - and even a lot faster in the evenings.
The club was the famous
Webster Hall, which also does a lot of live music. It turned out that a lot of well-known artists like Prince and Madonna have played there, and Linkin Park shot a live concert on one of its floors in 2007.
Tonight was an event called
Circus, with jugglers, clowns etc performing in the middle of the club. 3 of the 5 flooers were open: Club tunes on first, House on second, and Hiphop in the basement.
We stayed mostly on the first floor, and had soooo much fun dancing, we never really sat down or stood still. During the night, we made up a lot of stupid dance moves: like the poker face, or snapping our fingers and rolling our head sideways, and Chris did an awesome Running Man!
Getting drunk and dancing silly dances with people we hardly knew was a lot more exciting than I could have imagined. I was worried that the clubs would be pretentious, but we had so much fun just being silly and joking around, it was great! :-)
